Cabinet Approves Transfer of Marine Official to Fisheries Post
Thailand’s Cabinet has approved moving Pinsak Suraswadi from the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources to head the Department of Fisheries. The Cabinet approved the transfer of Pinsak Suraswadi, Director-General of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, to become Director-General of the Department of Fisheries. The decision, made on October 6, 2026, was announced by Deputy Government Spokesperson Lalida Perisriwattana. The transfer replaces a vacant position and has been approved by Deputy Prime Minister Yotsachan Wongssawat, with both sides consenting. The appointment will be effective from the date of the royal command.
