Woman Unable to Enter Home Due to Garbage Blockade
A woman in Samut Prakan province cannot enter her home because neighbours have piled flood‑related garbage in front of her door, blocking access for three days. She has appealed for the waste to be cleared and has contacted local officials, but the dumping continues and no collection has occurred. She hopes the entrance will be kept clear so she can retrieve her belongings and assess flood damage.
The woman explained that she understands everyone is suffering from the floods and does not want to stop people from dumping waste, but she asks that they leave the area in front of her sliding door clear so she can open it. When she appealed for cooperation, some neighbours accused her of being selfish and unfeeling, even suggesting she buy a house on a hill if she is unhappy. She has contacted the local subdistrict authority and village head, who promised to arrange garbage collection, but no action has been taken and more waste continues to be dumped. Despite clear signs and her pleas, villagers keep bringing flood‑damaged items and trash to the site, further blocking her access. She urges neighbours and waste‑dumpers to keep the entrance free so she can check her property and move her belongings, and calls on relevant agencies to clear the garbage promptly.
