Po Tek Tung Foundation Delivers Emergency Aid Amid Floods
Po Tek Tung Foundation distributed 500 emergency relief kits worth 475,580 baht to flood-affected residents on September 27, including food, hygiene items, and rescue equipment.
On September 27, Po Tek Tung Foundation pooled its resources to combat flooding. Foundation Chairman Wichian Techapaibuol and the board of directors assigned Foundation Executive Director Aran Totwad to direct the Public Welfare and Operations divisions.
The Operations Manager, Worpoj Charussethasiri, led a team that included Yutthaya Takotor (Disaster Relief Department head), Ratchaporn Prasongthrap (Public Welfare Department head), Suchip Bunseng (Volunteer Department head), and staff from multiple departments and volunteer units.
They prepared 500 emergency relief kits containing: 1. Ready-to-eat cooked rice 2. Instant prepared meals 3. Instant noodles 4. Toothbrush 5. Toothpaste 6. Shower cream 7. Mosquito repellent spray 8. Flashlight with batteries 9. Dry and wet tissue paper 10. Garbage bags 11. Sanitary pads 12. Basic medicines
The Foundation also prepared life jackets and portable solar-powered lights to support rescue operations assisting residents. The total value of assistance reached 475,580 baht.
