Heavy Rain Alert Issued Across Northern, Northeast, Central Regions
Heavy rain is already falling across Thailand's northern, northeastern, central, and eastern regions, with Bangkok expecting only light showers.
A popular weather Facebook page warned this morning of heavy rainfall in the northern, northeastern, central, and eastern regions of Thailand, with only light rain expected in Bangkok and its vicinity. As of 07:45 on September 28, heavy rain is reported in Tak and Kamphaeng Phet provinces in the north, parts of Chaiyaphum and Nakhon Ratchasima in the northeast, Kanchanaburi and Uthai Thani in the central region, and parts of Rayong, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Chanthaburi, and Prachuap Khiri Khan in the eastern region. Bangkok and its surrounding areas are expected to experience only light showers. The page credited radar data from the Royal Forest Department's Takhli Station and the Rayong Meteorological Office.
