Police Bust Gang Stealing Honda Forza 350 Motorcycles for Export
Police arrested two men in Chachoengsao for stealing Honda Forza 350 motorcycles and smuggling them across Thailand's borders through an organized trafficking network that targeted the high-value bikes for export.
On September 14, officers from Na Jomtien Police Station in Chachoengsao, led by Colonel Pisit Tang Sirisiam and other investigators, arrested two suspects under court warrant: Sathorn, 35, and Damrong, 33. They face charges of nighttime theft using vehicles to facilitate the crime.
During the expanded investigation, police seized two more Honda Forza 350 motorcycles that had been reported stolen at Sri Racha Police Station.
Both suspects confessed to stealing five Honda Forza 350 motorcycles in Chachoengsao province. They targeted this model specifically because of its high price and strong market demand. After stealing each bike, they hired transport companies to ship the motorcycles to northern Thailand, where accomplices received them and smuggled them across the border to neighboring countries.
Police say the operation is highly organized, with different roles: theft, transport coordination, northern relay, and illegal border crossing. Officers have recovered three of the stolen motorcycles, but two others are believed to have already been transported across the border. Investigators are working to identify and prosecute all individuals involved in the trafficking network.
