Police Education Command Marks 66th Anniversary
Thailand's Police Education Command celebrated its 66th anniversary with a ceremony honoring deceased personnel and awarding 171 education scholarships worth 227,000 baht to children of officers.
Deputy Police Commissioner Nithithorn Jintakananth, along with Thanyathat Jintakananth, chairwoman of the Police Education Command Women's Association, and Special Advisor Kaetsombun Yoosuksomporn held a 66th-anniversary ceremony honoring the Police Education Command. The event was attended by five former commanders of the unit, who joined to celebrate the occasion.
The ceremony began with police officers paying respects to Buddha images and shrines, followed by Buddhist chanting for merit-making in honor of deceased personnel. The command presented quality-assurance awards to training units and recognition plaques to officers retiring on September 30, 2025, acknowledging their dedicated service.
In the same ceremony, 171 education scholarships worth a combined 227,000 baht were awarded to children of police officers in the unit to support their studies and boost morale. The event concluded with a lunch celebration for personnel, reinforcing unity and camaraderie within the organization. The ceremony reflects the Police Education Command's appreciation for officer dedication and commitment to supporting the welfare of police families.
