Princess Sirivannavari Thanks Thais After Asian Games Dressage
Princess Sirivannavari scored 121.236 points in individual dressage at the Asian Games in Japan, finishing 38th while thanking her horse Boulevard and Thai supporters for their encouragement.
Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana, Thailand's equestrian competitor, took part in the individual dressage event on day two of the 20th Asian Games in Japan on September 26. She achieved a score of 121.236 points and finished 38th in the competition.
Following her performance, Princess Sirivannavari expressed particular thanks to her horse Boulevard, describing him as a fighter with excellent temperament and confidence. She noted that dressage is an extremely difficult discipline, but Boulevard performed beautifully and drew strength from the encouragement of Thai supporters. She rewarded him generously with apples and carrots.
She also commended her entire support team, including groom Emma for outstanding horse care, her coach for constant guidance at every point, and the Horse Association for their encouragement. In closing remarks, she said: "I want to thank all Thai people for sending encouragement to me. Today marks the best score I have achieved at an Asian Games so far. Thank you to every single Thai person, to my friends, and to everyone. Thank you very much."
