Bangkok Monorail Lines Open Free Parking for Flood Victims
Bangkok's Pink and Yellow monorail lines are offering free parking through October 2 to help flood victims in affected northern and eastern areas access transit.
The Pink Line monorail (Wiwat Nakhon) has opened free parking to assist flood victims in the Minburi area and surrounding neighborhoods. Northern Bangkok Monorail Company (NBM) is providing complimentary parking for cars and motorcycles at Minburi Station (PK30) from today through October 2, 2569. Vehicles can be brought in immediately and must be removed by October 2. The company urges users to follow staff instructions and park only in designated areas, and sends support to residents affected by the flooding.
The Yellow Line monorail (Nakhon Pathipatana) is also offering free parking to help those impacted by flooding in the Sri Nakhrin area. Eastern Bangkok Monorail Company (EBM) has opened spaces at Sri Eiam Station (YL17) at no cost from today through October 2, 2569, for both cars and motorcycles. Users are asked to comply with staff guidance and use only designated parking zones. EBM extends encouragement to residents as they navigate the current situation safely.
