PTT Station Launches Youth Football Championship in Ayutthaya
PTT Station hosted a youth football championship in Ayutthaya on July 24, featuring a 3-on-3 tournament among four local schools, with Mala Ee Songkhro claiming the title and educational scholarships.
PTT Station held the "Fill Young Footballers' Dreams" event in Ayutthaya on July 24, 2025, at a PTT Station location in Ladbuachang Subdistrict, aiming to inspire youth who love football by providing close interaction with professional players and renowned national sports influencers.
The event's highlight was a 3-on-3 mini-football tournament on artificial grass, emphasizing speed, accuracy, and teamwork. Teams from four leading schools in Ayutthaya participated: Wat Lakchairat School, Upanpun Rrojnpraset School, Wat Lad Prathum Kongkaram School, and Mala Ee Songkhro School.
Tournament Results: First Match: Mala Ee Songkhro defeated Wat Lakchairat 6-0 Second Match: Wat Lad Prathum Kongkaram drew 2-2 with Upanpun Rrojnpraset, winning on penalties Third Place Match: Wat Lakchairat drew 2-2 with Upanpun Rrojnpraset, with Wat Lakchairat winning on penalties Final: Mala Ee Songkhro defeated Wat Lad Prathum Kongkaram 5-1
Mala Ee Songkhro won the championship and received 4,000 baht in educational scholarships. Sarawat Detmit presented an MVP award to Wat Lakchairat's outstanding player.
Sarawat Detmit praised the event, noting that while competition opportunities for youth were previously difficult to find, this initiative gives children chances to develop themselves. Even on a small field, he believes such recognition inspires young athletes toward their goals.
Jon Kachornyod, the prominent football columnist, called the event refreshing and inspiring, noting it connects renowned local footballers with youth talent across provinces. He encouraged all young people with dreams—whether small or large—to pursue them relentlessly, saying that without moving forward, dreams remain stationary.
