Red Bull has launched "Red Bull Power Race," a groundbreaking new fitness racing competition—the world's first of its kind—designed to challenge participants and select country representatives for an international final in Bangkok. Operating under the concept "The Fastest Race The Greatest Rush," the event opens the competition to fitness enthusiasts of all levels, whether runners, gym-goers, or regular exercisers seeking a new challenge. Unlike traditional competitions requiring specialized equipment or complex skills, Red Bull Power Race demands only determination, physical strength, and mental resolve to push beyond personal limits.
Participants must complete four 400-meter runs alternated with push-ups, sit-ups, and squats—men performing 40 repetitions per station and women 30—with the sole objective of finishing all stations and crossing the finish line fastest. The simple format amplifies differences between individual athletes, highlighting pacing strategy, energy management, and the ability to persevere as the body reaches its limit.
The event is designed to create excitement for both competitors and spectators, with a format allowing audiences to closely follow every moment of competitors' progress from start to finish. Suphassita Kraisuree, Marketing Executive Vice President at TCP Group, stated: "Red Bull believes sports unite people and reveal individual potential. Red Bull Power Race was created to be accessible, easy to understand, and thrilling for both competitors and spectators. It measures not only physical strength but also determination under pressure and the courage to exceed one's own limits."
Beyond the national qualifying round, Red Bull Power Race functions as a regional sports platform connecting competitors across Southeast Asia through a shared challenge, with each country's selection round feeding into the larger regional framework.
