The Region 2 Army Commander opened the first 2025 executive-level security network development curriculum in Sisaket province, emphasizing that recent border security situations require integrated cooperation across all sectors to jointly monitor, prevent, and address multifaceted threats.
On July 6, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Sanghee Hall in Gallery Design Hotel, Muang District, Sisaket, Gen. Wirayuth Raksilp, Region 2 Commander and Internal Security Director for Region 2, inaugurated the executive-level security network development curriculum organized by Sisaket's Internal Security Operations Center, 2025 class 1.
Provincial Governor Anurath Thammapratchajit attended alongside government department heads, security agency representatives, private sector officials, and organizational leaders. Deputy Internal Security Director Pol.Col. Surachai Meeom said the training is an initiative of the Public Affairs and Communication Office of the Internal Security Operations Center of the Kingdom, aimed at building cooperation and security networks among the public sector, private sector, civil society, and media to enable efficient integrated work based on good governance and the philosophy of sufficient economy for the benefit of the public and nation.
The training seeks to raise awareness of the duty to protect nation, religion, and monarchy; build understanding of the Internal Security Operations Center's mission; promote participation in preventing and addressing multidimensional security threats; and develop cooperation networks as a key mechanism for monitoring, warning, supporting government operations, and advancing public benefit activities.
Gen. Wirayuth Raksilp stated that recent border security situations demonstrate the importance of integrated cooperation across sectors. This training serves as a crucial forum for developing relationships among organizational leaders from both public and private sectors to enhance readiness against multifaceted threats, border security, internal security, and all forms of disasters. The knowledge will be applied to strengthen the security network as an important force for advancing Sisaket province's security in all dimensions and benefiting the nation overall.
The five-day training, running July 6-10, 2025, includes academic lectures from expert speakers, study trips to border areas and cultural sites, and volunteer and CSR activities promoting social and environmental responsibility. Over 40 participants from government agencies, civilian, military, and police sectors, private companies, and organizational leaders from Sisaket province will attend, expected to become key forces in building cooperation networks and enhancing the province's security response capacity.
