The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that the investigation into Supaprorn Pimpongse regarding false Form 246-2 filings is currently in the legal disclosure phase. SEC Deputy Secretary-General and Spokesperson Aneuk Yooyuen provided an update addressing public interest in the case. First, the SEC has removed the disputed Form 246-2 information from its public system, following previous warning notices. Second, regarding enforcement action against the person who filed false information, the SEC confirmed on July 10, 2025, that it is working with the Police Economic Crime Division to verify identity and obtain a statement. The case is now proceeding through due process of law, with the SEC to release details once the investigation concludes. The SEC stated it is not dismissing the matter and has been monitoring developments, gathering feedback, and clarifying actions to prevent investor confusion from misinformation. The regulator is also considering additional measures in coordination with relevant agencies to prevent and deter similar incidents, aiming to restore confidence in the accuracy of capital market information.
