Seven Local Officials Questioned in Exam Fraud Case
Seven local government officials appeared for questioning on exam fraud and answer sheet tampering charges, marking the final group of suspects in the investigation that will be referred to the National Anti-Corruption Commission by August
Seven local government officials—the final group of suspects summoned in the answer sheet tampering case—appeared before investigators at the Central Investigation Police Bureau's station on August 10, 2569 to hear charges and give statements. All seven suspects arrived with two legal advisors. Their lawyers stated only that the visit was a routine response to a lawful summons and that they were present in an advisory capacity. Investigators formally notified the officials of three charges: conspiracy to commit fraud, violation of Criminal Code Section 188, and breaches of the Computer Crime Act. Once questioning and full notification of charges are complete, police will expedite the collection and compilation of evidence for submission to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) by August 12 for further legal action.
