The Thai Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast for the next 24 hours, warning of heavy rainfall in some areas with very heavy downpours expected in parts of the Eastern region. The public is advised to be cautious of heavy to very heavy rainfall and accumulated water, which may cause flash floods, flash flooding, and landslides, particularly in hilly areas near water channels and low-lying zones. Travel through chronically flood-prone routes should be avoided, especially low-lying areas where standing water may develop rapidly.
Weather patterns show that a high-pressure system and cold air mass from China covering the upper North and upper Northeast will weaken, while monsoon troughs continue to pass through the lower Central, upper Southern, and Eastern regions into a strong low-pressure zone over the central South China Sea. Southwest monsoon winds of moderate strength are covering the Andaman Sea, the South, and the Gulf of Thailand. Waves in the upper Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand are moderately strong, reaching approximately 2 meters in height, with heights exceeding 2 meters in thunderstorm areas. Boat operators in the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand are urged to exercise caution and avoid thunderstorm zones.

North: 70 percent thunderstorms with heavy rain in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, Sukhothai, Tak, Uttaradit, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phitsanulok, and Phetchabun. Low 21-26°C, high 32-35°C. Easterly winds 10-20 km/h.
Northeast: 70 percent thunderstorms with heavy rain in Loei, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Mukdahan, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket, and Ubon Ratchathani. Low 22-24°C, high 31-34°C. Easterly winds 10-20 km/h.
Central: 80 percent thunderstorms with heavy rain in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Lopburi, Saraburi, Suphan Buri, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram, and Samut Sakhon. Low 23-25°C, high 32-34°C. Southeast winds 10-25 km/h.
East: 80 percent thunderstorms with heavy rain in Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat, with very heavy rain in some areas of Nakhon Nayok and Prachuap Khiri Khan. Low 23-25°C, high 30-34°C. Variable winds 20-35 km/h. Sea waves approximately 2 meters, exceeding 2 meters in thunderstorm zones.
Southern East Coast: 70 percent thunderstorms with heavy rain in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat. Low 22-25°C, high 31-34°C. From Surat Thani northward: variable winds 20-35 km/h, sea waves 1-2 meters near shore, exceeding 2 meters in thunderstorm areas. From Nakhon Si Thammarat southward: southwest winds 15-35 km/h.
