On September 20, 2026, at Intuman Operations Base in the Phu Ma Kiao area of Sri Sa Ket province, Colonel Chakrakrit Khurirang, commander of the 11th Infantry Battalion's special task force under Surin Force, led a ceremony to collect soil from the Phu Ma Kiao battlefield on the Thai-Cambodian border. The soil will be preserved at the Surin Force military museum as a symbol of honor and remembrance.
