Industry Department Launches DIPROM RISE to Support 27 Thai Entrepreneurs
The Department of Industrial Promotion launches DIPROM RISE from September 18–20 at Siam Paragon, showcasing products from 27 Thai entrepreneurs across fashion, food, and wellness industries while facilitating business networking and market
The Department of Industrial Promotion (DIPROM) is hosting "DIPROM RISE: Discover Potential. Rising Together" at Star Hall, Level 5 of Siam Paragon shopping center from September 18–20, 2025. The event brings together over 27 promising entrepreneurs from across Thailand to exhibit and sell their products, while creating opportunities for business networking and concrete market connections.
The initiative aligns with DIPROM's 2025 "DIPROM FLEXi" policy, which emphasizes flexible and targeted support for entrepreneurs based on regional potential, and aims to unlock barriers to product development and market access. DIPROM has been driving regional development projects across multiple regions nationwide. The DIPROM RISE event serves as an important mechanism to advance the potential of regional-level entrepreneurs under a broader industrial development project linked to special economic zones. The project has received a total budget of 22 million baht, with targets to develop 800 entrepreneurs, 90 businesses, and 90 products across the country.
Dusit Anantarak, Deputy Director-General of DIPROM, stated: "DIPROM RISE is organized in line with our department's policy, aiming to expand channels for product display and sales, build cooperative networks, connect trading opportunities, and promote products from entrepreneurs we have supported, so that these products can be further developed to better meet consumer needs."
The name RISE reflects four working principles: Recognize—discovering potential; Inspire—creating inspiration; Strengthen—building resilience; and Expand—moving forward sustainably.
"For this event, we have selected over 27 promising entrepreneurs to showcase their products in central Bangkok, reflecting Thai entrepreneurs' ability to transform raw materials, local wisdom, local identity, and creativity into quality products that create added value and have genuine opportunities for market growth," the Deputy Director-General added.
Products on display cover five industry groups: Fashion, Craft and Lifestyle; Specialty Food and Local Delicacies; Cocoa, Coffee and Beverages; Local Spirits and Craft Drinks; and Wellness and Natural Care. The event features key activities including pitching sessions, business matching, product testing, and workshops.
"A key highlight of DIPROM RISE is upgrading the way products are presented—moving beyond simple product display and sales to creating an experience that allows visitors to discover, sample, and engage closely with the products," organizers noted.
The event will serve as more than a product showcase but rather a space where visitors can discover new products, learn their origins and potential, try them out, and experience brands firsthand. At the same time, entrepreneurs gain opportunities to communicate their product strengths, hear consumer feedback, and move toward future market and business opportunities.
