Thai Airways has mobilized staff to expedite the delivery of baggage from 52 flights stranded at Suvarnabhumi Airport, announcing baggage status tracking channels and instructions for unregistered passengers. On September 29, Chai Eamsiri, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Airways Public Company Limited, apologized for the inconvenience and stated the airline is working at full capacity to return baggage to passengers as quickly as possible, while closely monitoring the situation until operations are complete.
Baggage from 52 flights on September 26–27 is being progressively delivered to registered passengers, with operations continuing until all items are handed over. On September 28, 34 flights experienced delays, and the airline apologized for the impact and thanked passengers for their understanding and cooperation.
Registered passengers can track baggage status through the following channels: for self-collection, contact the baggage service office on the second floor near the domestic departure exit between 06:30–23:30 at 0-2134-5373–74; passengers who registered via QR Code will have baggage delivered to their registered address. Unregistered passengers or those needing additional information can call 0-2134-5373–74 for domestic routes or 0-2134-5466–68 for international routes.
