Thailand's Institute of Forensic Science is coordinating with the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office through international mutual legal assistance protocols to obtain Georgia's initial autopsy report and toxicology results for Hlun Solo, a prominent travel YouTuber. Hlun Solo's brother, Somsakdi Butsri, posted an update through his Facebook page Klose Mos regarding his younger brother's death, noting that on August 10, 2569, the Thai embassy informed him that Georgia had sent the death certificate. However, the document did not clearly specify the cause of death. The Thai embassy has already sent written requests and follow-ups to relevant Georgian authorities. The family is awaiting clarity on the investigation results and the true cause of death, and emphasizes that they seek fairness, transparency, and accountability in the investigation process. The family stressed they are not seeking to blame anyone but simply want the truth, clarity, and justice for their brother through a fair and transparent examination process. They thanked the Thai embassy, Thai agencies, Georgian authorities, and all those who have assisted them throughout this difficult period.

On August 17, 2569, Associate Professor Voraveech Waiyavuth, Deputy Director of the Institute of Forensic Science under the Ministry of Justice, revealed that the institute is currently coordinating with the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office under the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty in Criminal Matters, B.E. 2535, to request official documentation from Georgia's forensic medicine institute regarding Hlun Solo's initial autopsy report. The report will include details on the cause of death, toxicology findings, and various laboratory examinations. However, Voraveech explained that it is unclear whether Georgia's autopsy results will include testing for toxins or chemical residues in the deceased's body, as Thailand is unfamiliar with Georgia's forensic system. He suggested that while they might infer Georgia follows international standards, it would be best to wait for the official results, as the death certificate does not yet clearly show the cause of death. Voraveech also noted that Georgia's initial autopsy report is crucial, as it will provide detailed findings that, combined with the previous re-autopsy conducted by the Institute of Forensic Science in Thailand, will help establish the facts of the case.
