Thai Build Nation Party Challenges Senate Election Fraud Ruling

On September 14, the Thai Build Nation Party (TBNP) posted a statement on its Facebook page regarding its position on the Election Commission's decision in a Senate election fraud case. The TBNP does not accept corruption in any form of gaining state power, including vote-buying, financial incentives, and schemes to manipulate Senate elections. Such corruption undermines the integrity of the political process and public confidence in political institutions and damages the Election Commission's credibility as an independent body.

The Election Commission has decided to refer only some of the accused individuals to the Electoral Division of the Supreme Court. The TBNP is demanding that the Election Commission take action against all accused parties to ensure transparency and fairness, with all suspects having evidence required to enter the justice system under equal standards.

To ensure accuracy and transparency, the Election Commission, as an independent constitutional body, should disclose to the public the key findings of its investigation subcommittees regarding all accused individuals, including the reasons and evidence for not referring remaining cases for prosecution as soon as possible. The TBNP will use all its political roles to monitor the Election Commission's decision and follow up on related proceedings, emphasizing that the government and all political office holders must not interfere with the investigation directly or indirectly, so that the public can be confident the law applies equally to everyone.

The TBNP is prepared to cooperate with all parties to develop the country's political system, but this must be based on integrity and legal correctness with equal standards, without interference or favoritism to protect wrongdoers. Any investigation into fraud must not stop at the executors but must equally pursue evidence against organizers, commanders, and supporters.
