Thai Political Party Opens Kitchen to Aid Flood Victims
The Group Bhraatham party opened a relief kitchen and donation center to aid flood victims across Bangkok and surrounding provinces, with operations beginning September 27.
Air Marshal Dhammanus Promma, leader of the Group Bhraatham party, alongside party members and lawmakers including Molthicha Chaibal (Chiang Rai MP), Dajai Ekpatpai (Lampang MP), Orthay Kerdtrap, Wongakaew Boonson (Sakon Nakhon MP), Siraphop Somphon (Sakon Nakhon MP), Pramesad Jina (Surat Thani MP), and Paveena Hongsokul (party advisor), officially opened a kitchen and dry-goods donation center to prepare relief efforts for flood victims.
The Group Bhraatham party and the Dhammanus Promma Foundation have readied a kitchen, rice stocks, dry goods, and essential items to prepare meals and collect supplies for delivery to affected areas including Bangkok, surrounding provinces, and Nakhon Nayok province, beginning September 27, 2026. The party will mobilize lawmakers, party members, and local teams to assess community needs and rapidly deliver ongoing assistance.
Air Marshal Dhammanus said the flooding has severely disrupted residents' daily lives, and the party is committed to providing urgent aid—particularly food, drinking water, and daily essentials—as people recover. He stressed that relief efforts extend beyond meal preparation to coordinating with local lawmakers and teams to identify needs and distribute goods comprehensively and swiftly across all affected areas.
