Thai Skateboarder Qualifies for Asian Games Finals
Thai skateboarder Wareeya Sukgetsem, 14, advanced to the women's street finals at the 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya after scoring 110.07 points in qualifying on September 26.
ST Wareeya Sukgetsem, a 14-year-old Thai skateboarding rising star, advanced to the finals of the women's street skateboarding competition at the 2026 Asian Games held at Aichi Sky Expo in Nagoya, Japan on September 26. ST scored 110.07 points in the qualifying round and successfully earned one of eight spots in the final. Her teammate Nattiyaporn Navakitvongs scored 82.35 points and did not advance to the final scheduled for September 27 at 9:00 AM Thailand time. The eight finalists include Oda Yumeko (Japan) with 151.85 points, Gui Chensai (China) with 131.42 points, Zhu Yuanling (China) with 128.03 points, Park Jibin (South Korea) with 119.91 points, Ni Wayan Marana (Indonesia) with 101.61 points, Ibuki Matsumoto (Japan) with 144.17 points, Shin Jiyul (South Korea) with 129.88 points, and Wareeya with 110.07 points.
