Thai Teqball Team Returns Home With Three Gold Medals
Thailand's teqball team swept all three gold medals at the Asian Games in Nagoya, winning mixed doubles, women's doubles, and men's doubles competitions before returning home on Thai Airways flight TG 645 on September 20.
The Thai Teqball Association has released a touching thank-you card from the captain and crew of Thai Airways flight TG 645, who carried the gold medal-winning national teqball team home from the Asian Games. Thailand's teqball squad competed in all three available categories at the 20th Asian Games—mixed doubles, women's doubles, and men's doubles—and won gold in every single event. The team arrived back in Thailand safely on September 20, and the association shared the captain and crew's congratulatory message on social media. In their post, the teqball association wrote: "Thank you to Captain Kong and the crew of flight TG 645 for your warm hospitality and excellent care throughout the journey from Nagoya back to Bangkok, and for safely bringing the Thai teqball team home. Thai Airways loves Thai teqball as much as the sky."
