Thailand Announces 23-Player Women's Soccer Squad for Asian Games
Thailand has named its 23-player women's soccer squad for the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, with the team opening against hosts Japan on September 14 under coach Alfred Nettipong Sritonginthorn.
The Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage has officially announced the 23-player roster for the Thai national women's soccer team at the 20th Asian Games (Asian Games 2026) taking place from September 14 to October 2, 2026, in Japan. The squad will be led by head coach Alfred Nettipong Sritonginthorn.
Thailand has been drawn in Group E alongside hosts Japan, Chinese Taipei, and Vietnam. The teams will play each other once, with the group champions, runners-up, and the two best third-place finishers advancing to the knockout stage.
The 23-player squad includes three goalkeepers, seven defenders, six midfielders, and seven forwards from clubs including BGC Bangkok United, Chonburi FC, Bangkok FC, Taichung Blue Whale, Guangxi Pingguo Beinong, and Kasem Bundit University FC.
The squad will train at Dynamic Football Camp in Samut Prakan until September 10, 2026, before departing for Japan on September 11. Thailand's opening match is scheduled for September 14 against hosts Japan at 5:30 p.m. Bangkok time at Ecopa Stadium in Shizuoka.
