In the girls' singles draw, Vimuttinya Pongnu displayed outstanding form to defeat South Korea's Kim Sebon 6-4, 6-1 and advance to the semifinals, where she will face fellow Thai player Arphranun Sophia Saengsucha, who defeated India's Swara Pawar 6-0, 6-1 in her quarterfinal.
In the boys' singles division, two Thai players successfully advanced to the semifinals: Pichpong Jinaphun defeated Kanjannaresorn Krushakayawong 6-0, 6-3, and Aphiwat Krueavalai defeated Malaysia's Jay Chern Chan 6-2, 6-2. Pichpong and Aphiwat will face each other in the boys' singles semifinal.
