From the case on November 3, a 45-year-old woman was found dead inside a pond in a rice field at Ban Song, Moo 2, Akat Amnuai District, Mukdahan Province. The body was not wearing any clothes, raising suspicions among relatives and villagers. The deceased was identified as Ms. Waranart, aged 45.
Preliminary information indicates that before the incident, villagers saw the deceased walk out of the village heading toward the scene around 12:30 PM. By evening, villagers notified relatives that they had found the body floating in the pond. Relatives rushed to check and confirmed she had died.
Most recently on November 5, reporters visited the scene and spoke with Mr. Anusorn, 72, the deceased's brother-in-law. He stated that around 5:30 PM, while traveling to pick up his wife who was on village health volunteer duty, a villager on a motorcycle informed him that his sister-in-law had died in the pond. He rushed to the scene and found the body floating face down in the water, unclothed. At the pond's edge, they found underwear, a wallet, and shoes, while a shoulder bag was found hanging on a tree on the opposite side of the pond.
Relatives remain troubled by the incident, particularly the condition of the body and the positioning of the belongings.
