Bangkok Police Bust 315kg Ice Drug Cache at Don Muang House
Bangkok police arrested a 28-year-old man and seized 315kg of crystal methamphetamine plus ketamine at a Don Muang house on September 12, after surveillance revealed suspicious activity and colorful drug-filled sacks at the entrance.
On September 12, Bangkok Metropolitan Police arrested Thanadol, 28, at a residence on Soi Wat Welu Vanarama 1 in Don Muang district. Police seized 315 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, 108 kilograms of ketamine, a .38 revolver, and 16 rounds of ammunition from the premises.
Investigation Unit 8 had received prior intelligence about suspicious activity at the house, which showed signs of drug trafficking and excessive noise. During surveillance on September 11, officers observed multiple colorful sacks displayed at the front door. After obtaining a search warrant and finding no response when summoning the occupant, police entered the property and discovered Thanadol hiding in a bedroom.
During interrogation, Thanadol confessed to being hired as a guard for the drug cache, receiving 20,000 baht in wages with a promise of an additional 10,000 baht upon successful completion of the job.
