CP Group chairman Thanin Chearavanont has awarded a continuing education scholarship to Nene Royal, a talented young Thai entertainer celebrated for bringing honour to the nation through her social media presence and performances. Supachai Chearavanont, CEO of CP Group, recently posted photos on Facebook showing Nene and her family receiving the scholarship and support from Thanin Chearavanont, the group's senior chairman, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The scholarship is being presented alongside CP Group's support for Thai youth education, delivered in partnership with True and the Pluem Panya Foundation under the Nene Royal Education Fund programme, which aims to promote and support talented young Thais who contribute to the nation's reputation.
Former music industry executive Nik Vicheir Ruk Paichisal has recounted his meeting with Thanin Chearavanont, highlighting the major announcement that CP Group is backing Nene by placing a giant billboard in Times Square, New York, to rally Thai supporters and votes for her during the live rounds of the global television show America's Got Talent. Nik praised the timing and thoughtfulness of this generous gesture of support for the young performer.
