Creditor Appeals for Jenny to Buy Back Mae Ked's Mortgaged House

A tissue paper business owner is seeking Jenny's help to buy back a house she mortgaged to Mae Ked for 5 million baht in Songkhla, after Jenny went silent on a deal to purchase it at 4.5 million baht six months ago.

Creditor Appeals for Jenny to Buy Back Mae Ked's Mortgaged House
22h ago Khaosod

Dr. B, or Pannipha Olalapattammagkit, 52, owner of a prominent tissue paper brand business, has appealed through the media asking Jenny to help purchase the first house of Lily, which Mae Ked had mortgaged. Jenny previously provided 5 million baht to redeem the house, but ultimately it fell into someone else's name.

Pannipha revealed she has been close to Mae Ked because they lived near each other in Songkhla province. In March 2025, Mae Ked needed cash and mortgaged the house for 5 million baht. Out of trust, Pannipha lent the full amount.

However, Mae Ked never paid interest or redeemed the loan. Pannipha was forced to transfer the house title to her own name temporarily to protect her legal rights.

When the story became news, Pannipha expected Jenny would buy the house back for Mae Ked. After family drama ended, Mae Ked contacted her asking about the house price, saying Jenny would be the buyer.

Pannipha initially offered to sell at 5.5 million baht including interest, but Jenny negotiated down to 5 million baht, which Pannipha accepted without interest. Jenny then requested 4.5 million baht, asking Pannipha to consider it as an outside purchase rather than a mortgage redemption. After 1-2 days of consideration, Pannipha agreed, intending to invest the money elsewhere.

However, when she called back with the answer, Jenny did not pick up. There has been no contact for nearly six months since.

Pannipha confirmed she is not angry or has problems with Mae Ked or Jenny. On the contrary, she still cares for them. She emphasized that she has helped Mae Ked many times before, including lending 400,000 baht to redeem a car Mae Ked had pawned, as she understands people who have struggled financially like herself.

She added that she wanted to sell the house back to the family because the four houses are adjacent with no fencing between them. She also learned that Lily's house in Songkhla had suffered flooding, forcing the family to rent a condominium temporarily.

The case awaits Jenny's response to clarify what actually happened regarding this house matter.

On July 6, 2569, at the Saimai Must Survive page office, 65-year-old Phen filed an urgent justice complaint regarding an incident in which she and her 18-year-old granddaughter were victimized by a group of teenagers who destroyed property and used knife weapons to slash her room door at the Aue-athan Housing Project on Phemi Sin Road. The incident falls under Bang Khae Police Station's jurisdiction, but no case progress has been made despite more than two months passing.

The incident occurred on May 21, 2569, around 7:00 p.m., when Phen was resting in her room with her granddaughter. A group of teenagers first caused a disturbance upstairs, then came down to Phen's room and violently slashed the door with knife weapons, causing severe damage. The terrifying behavior shocked Phen so greatly that she lost consciousness at the scene. The exact time the perpetrators fled remains unclear.

After the incident, Phen immediately filed a report with Bang Khae Police Station investigators. However, to date, no arrests have been made, despite having crucial evidence in the form of clear CCTV footage documenting the incident and the criminals' behavior. This has forced Phen and her family to live in fear and anxiety about their safety and property.

Phen provided additional information that she knows one perpetrator is "Nai To," who previously knew her son and had visited the upstairs room to eat. However, she is uncertain whether Nai To had any personal conflict with her son.

She urges police to expedite the arrest of all perpetrators and proceed with legal action, as well as promptly compensate for damages.

Ekphop Lueangprasert, founder of the Saimai Must Survive page who is assisting in this case, stated the case is not complicated at all, as there are witness testimony, circumstantial evidence, and clear CCTV video footage documenting the incident. He urges Bang Khae Police Station to accelerate their work and pursue the teenage perpetrators for legal proceedings as soon as possible, as the victim has suffered and awaited justice for more than two months. He expressed confidence that if police proceed seriously and diligently, the perpetrators can be arrested and prosecuted within just two days.

An 11-year-old boy took his parents' pickup truck and drove it away from home, resulting in a crash into a Buddhist shrine that killed 10 monks and injured many others. The boy's mother and grandmother have denied ever teaching him to drive. On July 6, 2025, Watcharaporn Phiw-kham, director of the Special Education Center in Mukdahan Province, revealed that the child initially struggled with development, social adjustment, and language skills beginning in 2021, but gradually improved and learned to follow basic rules and interact with peers. She confirmed never seeing the boy drive the pickup truck himself, only sitting in the front passenger seat with his grandmother and mother. However, she noted that the child has a distinctive ability to remember, learn, and imitate things he finds interesting, suggesting he likely observed and memorized driving from watching his grandmother and mother transport him. The 11-year-old boy remains under the care of officials from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security as part of child protection procedures.

Actor Toy Phongsakorn Promotes Running For Better Health

Thai actor Toy Phongsakorn advocates running as essential for health and discipline, sharing how he balances a demanding entertainment career with marathon training while maintaining the physical stamina needed for action roles.

Actor Toy Phongsakorn Promotes Running For Better Health
22h ago Khaosod

Beyond his entertainment career where actor Toy Phongsakorn dedicates himself to performing diverse roles, he also makes time for running—his favorite activity. He has balanced his work schedule with exercise and successfully completed multiple marathons. Toy previously played golf but shifted to running based on advice from industry professionals. Beyond personal health benefits, running has improved his work performance, including body maintenance and physical stamina for action scenes without fatigue.

Toy explains that people run for different reasons—some for health, others to challenge themselves through marathons. "Running for health means enjoying the activity, which leads to longer, more effective workouts. It's something I love and do for my own health. Running to challenge myself is like pushing my limits. Marathon running requires tremendous discipline, teaching many lessons about rest, sleep, nutrition, and training. Marathon training isn't just about race day; the preparation journey is equally important. Each marathon provided different perspectives—pressure, satisfaction, or sometimes wanting to quit due to limited training time because of back-to-back filming for seven days, making one actual race more difficult than previous ones."

As he entered the serious running world, Toy describes physical and mental changes in himself, with his family appreciating his discipline. He must sacrifice certain things—declining outings with friends to get home early and rest before early morning training sessions starting at 4:30 AM.

"Running mentally helps with focus, letting go, and building discipline. It requires sacrifices, like choosing not to party with friends to get proper rest before early morning training. That's trading something for something better. I suggest thinking about which path you choose—one that benefits your health or one that doesn't."

"Every foundation starts with walking. Begin with walking, then gradually shift to slow running with walking breaks. I believe this pace allows continuous, longer-term running. Many feel pressured to run fast like others or maintain low pace. For health running, monitor heart rate around 140-145 BPM—where you can still talk while running. This heart rate range helps your body burn fat as energy and improves health. Just 30 minutes daily provides health benefits."

By prioritizing a strong body, the results are improved health. The Ministry of Public Health also emphasizes comprehensive health care to encourage everyone toward better health and quality of life. "Good health means being with loved ones longer without burdening others. It just requires exercise. Many make excuses, postponing until tomorrow. If you don't start, your health suffers. The ministry continuously promotes exercise, explaining benefits and consequences of inactivity, encouraging Thais to prioritize health for better quality of life and longer time with loved ones—not just exercise, but comprehensive wellness."

On July 3, 2026, the Thai Committee on Irrigation and Drainage (THAICID) announced the 'THAICID-NWIKS 2026 Network Week for Integrated Learning' at the Royal Irrigation Department's 99-Year Building on Samsaen Road in Bangkok. The event will bring together water management experts from Thailand and abroad between July 8-10 at Kasetsart University's 80-Year Building in Kamphaeng Saen district, Nakhon Pathom province.

Under the theme 'Smarter Water for a Stronger Future,' the event aims to elevate national water management through innovation, digital technology, and cross-sector collaboration to address climate change impacts on water resources, agriculture, and food security. Yongyos Niamthrap, an irrigation authority expert and event chairman, stated that modern water management requires not only adequate water allocation but also knowledge, technology, smart systems, and research innovations combined with multi-sector cooperation to create efficient, flexible, and resilient water management systems.

The three-day program features intensive academic and technological activities. On July 8, the 19th National Conference on Irrigation and Drainage will launch, with knowledge-sharing forums on Smart Irrigation, IoT, Remote Sensing, and Climate-Smart Water Management, plus water and agricultural research presentations. July 9 will feature Dongtan Software Day, showcasing water management technology with experts from global organizations including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Deltares, covering sediment management, flood risk systems, dam safety, salinity forecasting, and water quality monitoring. The event concludes on July 10 with the INWEPF-Thailand forum titled 'Farmers' Future and Low-Water Rice Cultivation: Prosperous Paddies Model,' bringing together academics, international representatives, JICA officials, and model farmers to share water management approaches for improving agricultural productivity and reducing water use.

The event welcomes Young Professionals and students to present water resources research and innovations, fostering a new generation of water management experts. THAICID emphasizes the event is open to farmers, water users, teachers, students, and the public interested in climate change and water resource management. Participants can network, exchange experiences, and participate in activities with opportunities to win prizes, food, and agricultural products.

Interested parties can attend the THAICID-NWIKS 2026 Network Week from July 8-10, 2026 at Kasetsart University's 80-Year Building in Kamphaeng Saen district, Nakhon Pathom province to contribute to advancing Thailand's water management and agricultural future under the 'Smarter Water for a Stronger Future' vision.

Thailand Disputes Cambodia's Blast Injury Claims At Border
23h ago Khaosod

Defense Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha's deputy General Adul Bunyatharmcharoen disputes Cambodia's allegation that Thai soldiers threw explosives causing Cambodian troop injuries, suggesting they may have stepped on existing mines instead. Speaking at Royal Thai Air Force headquarters on July 6, General Adul said the exact cause of the incident cannot be confirmed, but there is a possibility Cambodian troops stepped on mines already present in the area. He emphasized Thailand maintains strict control measures, clear rules of engagement, close command oversight, and forces ready to defend national sovereignty, all operating under the ceasefire agreement from December 27, 2024.

Regarding diplomatic resolution, General Adul noted that Thailand and Cambodia are inseparable, but the current situation stems from Cambodia linking border issues to internal politics. Thailand's priority is building public confidence in the government's ability to protect sovereignty and ensure border residents' safety through coordinated national efforts.

On the sediment-trapping dam near Ban Hat Lek in Trat province, built by Cambodian private interests, General Adul acknowledged it is located in Cambodian territory and has created a port for tourist boats. However, the dam causes problems as sediment accumulation leads to seawater erosion of Thailand's Ban Hat Lek coastline. He said the two countries must discuss solutions, noting the issue has persisted since 1998 and he has already inspected the site.

When asked if UNCLOS (United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea 1982) mechanisms should be used, General Adul agreed, noting the dam is outside Thai territory and just 300 meters from the maritime boundary marker 71. He acknowledged concerns about threats to Thailand's maritime sovereignty and emphasized discussions are needed once conditions improve. Regarding Cambodia's leader Hun Sen ordering the dam not be dismantled, General Adul said he had no comment.
