Former Boxing Champion's Recovery Update After Psychiatric Treatment

Johnny the Protector has released an update on the condition of Amnuay Ruenrueng, a former Thai world boxing champion, following his admission to Phra Sri Mahapo Hospital in Ubon Ratchathani for intensive psychiatric treatment. Amnuay had relapsed into drinking after taking leave to visit his mother in Si Racha, Chachoengsao, before Johnny brought him back for deep psychiatric care to address alcohol and substance abuse.

Johnny, formerly Detective Yutthaphol Srisompong, a renowned investigator from Ubon Ratchathani who has since become an influencer and businessman, shared the update on his personal Facebook account. He called the hospital director this morning out of concern to inform supporters nationwide about Amnuay's psychiatric treatment progress.

According to the doctor's preliminary report, Amnuay is currently receiving sedative medications and detoxification drugs and must remain under observation. He is not yet able to communicate, but the doctor expects he will be able to do so within several days. The detoxification process for alcohol and drugs will take some additional time. The medical team is not using strong sedatives anymore, just mild sleeping medications to manage withdrawal symptoms. Approximately one week of treatment remains before detoxification is complete, after which regular assessments will continue.

The hospital is not allowing visitors at this time, so Johnny is providing updates for boxing fans and trainers following Amnuay's progress. Johnny expressed his commitment to supporting his mentor, saying he will not abandon him and will remain by his side throughout the recovery process.
