In the upper Andaman, waves will reach 2–3 metres from August 19–21, exceeding 3 metres in thunderstorm areas. The lower Andaman and upper Gulf of Thailand will see waves around 2 metres, exceeding 2 metres in storms. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution and avoid areas with thunderstorms.
