Mother Files Complaint Over Neighbor's Barking Dogs and Noisy Motorcycles
A mother and son filed a police complaint in Nonthaburi over persistent noise from a neighbor's barking dogs and modified motorcycles, submitting CCTV evidence showing the disturbances have worsened the mother's health condition.
A social media post highlighting neighborhood complaints in the Bang Bua Thong area of Nonthaburi has sparked a formal police investigation. Tiwasindhu, 62, and her son Prat, 37, filed a report on September 15, 2026, with investigator Prasop Phimmeelai at Bang Bua Thong Police Station, submitting closed-circuit camera footage as evidence. The charges relate to public nuisance caused by the neighboring household's activities.
CCTV footage shows multiple unregistered pickup trucks parked at the neighbor's house, groups smoking and flicking cigarette butts into drainage pipes, motorcycles with loud modified exhausts revving at early morning and late night hours, and American pit bull dogs barking continuously. Prat explained that the disturbances have affected his elderly mother, who suffers from an inner ear condition and has been repeatedly startled awake at night, worsening her health and causing dizziness. He stated that approximately 4-5 people live in the neighboring house with multiple motorcycles coming and going daily, along with constant visiting friends. Despite notifications to the village committee and Phimlarat Municipality, the problems have continued. He expressed concern about confronting the neighbor directly, fearing potential retaliation, and appealed to authorities to resolve the conflict and encourage behavioral change within the community. Police initially plan to summon the complainants for further questioning before issuing a formal summons to the neighbor.
