Nook Songkhla Wins Thailand Snooker Championship

The 2025 Thailand National Snooker Championship, the Thailand Ranking Championship Nakhon Sawan Cup, held at the 4,000-seat Nakhon Sawan Sports Complex on September 6, 2024, concluded with championship honors going to defending titleholder Nook Songkhla. The best-of-seven-frame final matched Nook Songkhla (Krishanat Lertsatayathorn), the defending champion and top-ranked player in Thailand, against Kor Nakhon Pathom (Phaskorn Suvannavat), Thailand's third-ranked snooker player. In their nine career meetings, Kor had won five times while Nook had won four.

In frame one, Nook broke first and led 37 points before a foul left Kor with just two shots; Kor won the frame 74-37. Kor extended his lead in frame two, scoring 34 points before another foul gave Nook his turn. Nook recovered to take frame two 77-42, evening the match at 1-1. Kor came back strong in frame three with a good start, leading 33-0 and ultimately winning 67-23 to go up 2-1. Frame four saw Kor make four errors, allowing Nook easy shots to win 68-6 and tie the match at 2-2. In frame five, Kor's errors continued, and Nook won decisively 75-8 to lead 3-2.

Frame six went to Kor after Nook's single mistake; Kor won 65-12 to force a deciding frame at 3-3. In the final frame, Nook capitalized on three of Kor's mistakes with easy shots, closing out the championship 74-9. Krishanat Lertsatayathorn won the decider 4-3 to claim his fourth national title and 300,000 baht in prize money. Phaskorn took runner-up honors and also earned the high break award with a 126-point break, winning 20,000 baht.
