Police, IT Square Distribute Water and Food to Flood-Hit Bangkok Residents
Police and IT Square shopping mall distributed water and food to flood-affected residents of Bangkok's Lak Si district on September 28, with supplies donated by police officials and the mall totaling 250 packs of water and 100 meals.
On September 28, Police Colonel Yuthasil Karintha, commander of Thung Song Hong Police Station, coordinated with Dr. Rungrut Saroyngen, executive director of IT Square shopping mall and vice chairman of Thung Song Hong Police volunteer committee, along with other police officers to distribute relief supplies donated by Deputy Police General Tawat Wongsoung (100 packs of water), IT Square (100 boxed meals and 50 packs of water), and Police Colonel Yuthasil (50 packs of water). The supplies were given to residents of the Thung Song Hong community in Bangkok's Lak Si district who have been severely affected by high water levels and are unable to leave their homes to purchase necessities. Police also drove through the area to assess water levels and clear stranded vehicles along Chaeng Watthana Road.
