Flooding Persists at Red Bridge Rangsit as Water Levels Rise Again
Water levels at Red Bridge in Pathum Thani rose again after briefly receding, forcing residents to wade through flooded streets to obtain supplies as the critical situation persists.
On September 28, reporters visited the Red Bridge flooding zone in Prachatipat Subdistrict, Thanyaburi District, Pathum Thani Province. Large numbers of residents were seen wading and using vehicles to travel out and buy food and supplies after two consecutive days of flooding. According to residents, water levels began dropping on September 27, but unexpectedly rose again in the evening. Although residents are not short of food, they are still waiting for the water to recede so they can resume normal life. Meanwhile, the water-level measurement point at Prayurasak Canal near Red Bridge remains critical, with water so high that the measurement marker cannot be seen.
