Doctor Lab Panda reported that a fan brought their mother for treatment at a hospital's surgical building in Phetchabun city. While praising the doctors and nursing staff for their excellent care and service, the visitor was alarmed by the condition of the patient room, with ceilings and walls entirely covered in mold.
The page appealed to doctors, patients, and the hospital for support, noting that during a recent visit on September 8, 2026, while medical and nursing staff provided good care and service, the hospital's condition was disheartening. Specific issues documented included: ceilings completely covered with mold throughout the ward; poor air circulation, making breathing difficult and indicating high levels of mold spores and pathogens; medical equipment stored in contaminated rooms unsuitable for patient care; and tables and equipment covered in dust, appearing to receive no regular cleaning or sanitation maintenance.
The post appealed to local administrators, the government, and philanthropists to allocate budget support to public hospitals that serve the poor and underprivileged. It stressed that prolonged exposure to mold spores day and night would inevitably harm patient health.
