School Director Reassigned Amid Youth Football Club Dispute
A school director in Chachoengsao has been reassigned to district office duties for 20 days following a dispute between a youth football coach and the school that threatened the program's operations.
A prominent youth football coach named Sakol Gleungpraserit announced he would part ways with the Melon United football club at Phuttisangsi Phibul School, declaring "It's hard to stay, harder still to live here." The abbot of Sothonvararamvorviharn Temple stepped in to mediate between the coach and school director, and the conflict seemed to be heading toward resolution. However, the Chachoengsao Secondary Education District Office has ordered school director Piyaraj Supchuawong to temporarily transfer to district office duties for 20 days from September 11-30 to prevent further damage to the school's image and operations. The Melon United club's Facebook page thanked education officials and community leaders for their attention and swift handling of the issue, noting that their support has been essential to allowing competitions to continue smoothly.
