Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand Wins Sixth RAAT Endurance Title

Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand, supported by Toyota Motor Thailand, has announced success at the RAAT Thailand Endurance Championship 2026 season finale after the Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport number 19 secured second place overall and in the TC2 class, earning the team their fifth consecutive championship and sixth trophy win from seven total seasons. The result underscores the team's dominance in Thailand's road car endurance racing, which demands speed, durability, and precise teamwork throughout competition.

The season-closing race proved a critical test of drivers, engineers, and staff, requiring precise strategy and race management during the grueling 10-hour event. Early heat gave way to rain, adding difficulty and complexity to the challenge. Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand demonstrated consistent strength across all classes with standout performances:

TC2 Class: The number 19 Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport, driven by Sutthipong Smitchart, Natthavut Charoensukhawatana, Manat Kulapalanan, and Natthapong Horthongkam, maintained strong form and crossed the finish line in second place overall and in class with 287 laps, securing the team's championship.

The number 20 car, driven by Kran Suphapong, Akrapong Akunnirot, and Kritsadee Vosurath, fought hard throughout the 10 hours to finish fourth in class and 20th overall with 228 laps.

TC3 Class: Toyota Yaris ATIV number 29, driven by Narasame Aphiwat, Na Dol Wattanathorn, and Shiba Kentaro, competed intensely throughout the race, finishing third in class and eighth overall with 263 laps.

TC N+ Class: Toyota Yaris ATIV HEV number 39, driven by Sitthai Khangnimit, Songsakdi Kornsirisuksukul, and Natthapol Angrutthananth, demonstrated hybrid technology performance under extreme racing conditions, finishing fifth in class and 19th overall with 229 laps.

After the race, team director and driver Sutthipong Smitchart said: "This 10-hour race was full of challenges, but everyone on the team performed their role exceptionally well, allowing us to successfully claim the season championship. This is our fifth consecutive title and our sixth trophy win from seven seasons, a result of everyone's dedication throughout the year.
