XSpring Equips Para-Athletes With Financial Planning Knowledge
XSpring is hosting a financial literacy workshop for over 100 para-athletes on September 25, 2025, teaching money management and investment skills to help them build security beyond their competitive careers.
XSpring is continuing its 'Because Sharing is Caring' initiative in partnership with the Cerebral Palsy Sports Association of Thailand and allied networks, hosting the 'XSpring Because Sharing is Caring – Win Your Life' event on September 25, 2025, at the National Bocce Sports Training Center under Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT). The programme will deliver financial management, savings, investment, and financial literacy knowledge to over 100 para-athletes and associated personnel, aiming to strengthen life-planning skills and build financial security both during athletic careers and after competition ends.
Behind every athlete's success and medals lies goal-setting, planning, training, and consistent discipline—much like building financial security, which requires planning and preparation from today onwards. Athletes face compressed competitive windows yet multiple income streams from competition, prize money, sponsorships, and other work. Sound money management and investment skills are therefore essential to translate athletic success into long-term life stability.
Yossakorn Follet, Chief Executive Officer of XSpring Asset Management, said: 'XSpring believes athlete support should not end with competitive opportunity but must include financial resilience, enabling them to plan and live securely after their final competition. Financial management knowledge, savings, investment literacy, and financial awareness are tools that help athletes manage earnings and prize money wisely and build lasting success beyond the field. Sustainable victory is not measured by medals alone but by readiness for the future.'
Anusorn Pimanga, Secretary of the Cerebral Palsy Sports Association of Thailand, stated that modern athlete development must look beyond competitive achievement to prepare them for life and career after sport ends. Athletes pursue excellence on the field but must also plan for life off it. Financial management, savings, investment, and future planning are critical skills. XSpring and partners bringing this knowledge to para-athletes provides another vital tool for self-management and secure preparation for the future.
A highlight of the event was experience-sharing from Thai para-team athletes linking their competition stories to life and financial planning. Wheelchair fencing athlete Saisuneya Chana noted that today's event clarifies how financial planning deserves athlete attention equal to training planning, as every baht earned reflects dedication. Expert guidance showed pathways for proper income management.
