On September 11, 2026, AIS Academy launches its major AI conference "AIS Academy For Thais 2026" under the concept "Mastering AI Beyond Borders" at Siam Square One to unite cooperation among government, business, education, and global technology partners. The event addresses a critical question: how can Thailand advance AI to deliver tangible results while preparing people, organizations, cities, and the national ecosystem to turn AI into a tool for boosting competitiveness and creating new opportunities for Thais.
Kantima Leloei-yuttidham, Executive Vice President of Corporate Business at Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (AIS), revealed that Thailand is currently shifting from AI Access to AI Capability as technology evolves from Generative AI toward further developments including AGI. The country must therefore prioritize building not just modern infrastructure and tools but an entire ecosystem.
"AIS Academy's role is not merely to host events or share knowledge, but to connect people with challenges to expertise, technology, and partner networks to transform learning into action," Leloei-yuttidham said. "We have designed this event to cover national, organizational, and individual readiness while providing space for all groups to learn, experiment, and see AI delivering real results."
This year's conference features over 30 leading speakers sharing perspectives on AI-driven results, with a focus on using AI to drive innovation in education and support the younger generation. The event expands learning opportunities to provinces nationwide to reduce technology access inequality and will include live online streaming. AIS emphasizes this is a commercial-free platform dedicated to advancing national strength through knowledge transfer.
