Doctor Blasts Hospital Over Missing X-Ray Films for 50 Patients
A southern Thailand doctor publicly confronted hospital staff after X-ray images for 50 patients vanished from the system, forcing examinations to be cancelled and patients sent home without proper care.
On September 8, a video emerged from a hospital in southern Thailand showing a doctor angrily confronting staff in front of patients because examinations could not be performed. In the clip, the doctor demanded to know why no one had delivered the X-ray films for the patients waiting to be seen, noting it was nearly noon. He pointed out that staff had been told a week earlier that X-ray films would be needed, questioned why old patient films had been deleted from the system, and criticized the lack of any data or plan other than sending patients home with their existing medications. A Facebook user who shared the video added context that the doctor was unable to examine patients because X-ray images were missing from the hospital system. The user noted that staff had been summoned since morning but failed to show up, claiming to be in another province, leaving patients waiting. The post thanked the doctor for defending the public.
