Gang Members Arrested After Shooting Chase Flips Car
Three gang members were arrested after a shooting and high-speed chase left a sedan overturned on a road in Kalasin province; a fourth suspect, identified as the shooter, remains at large.
On September 8, police brought three suspects to Nam Un Police Station for questioning in connection with a shooting and chase that left a sedan overturned on Thinannont Road in Yodkaeng subdistrict, Namun district, Kalasin province, at 1:52 a.m. on September 5. Kalasin Provincial Police Commander Sompon Boonbalprasetr and investigation officers presented the three detained suspects: Annawin, 28; Prawut, 36; and Peeraphat, 23, along with the vehicle used in the incident. A fourth suspect, Nattapol, 24, identified as the shooter, remains a fugitive.
Initial investigation revealed the incident stemmed from a dispute over debt collection and illegal business conflict between the suspect group and the victims, which escalated into a armed chase. All three detained suspects have been charged with attempted murder and handed over to Nam Un Police Station for further legal proceedings.
