Kasetsart University Partners with Army Academy on Research and Security
Kasetsart University and Thailand's Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy signed an academic cooperation agreement to enhance research and knowledge exchange in administration, security, and social sciences.
Kasetsart University has signed an academic cooperation agreement with the Royal Thai Army's Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy. Assoc. Prof. Kongsakdi Thiangthram, rector of Kasetsart University, signed the memorandum with Major General Kiatchai Oamphaos, commandant of the military academy. The signing took place on September 22, 2026, at Classroom 210 of the academy, with witnesses including Col. Wisun Thongarum, deputy commandant for academics; Col. Naparat Saengnoom, deputy commandant for administration; and senior officials from both institutions.
The agreement's primary objectives are to increase knowledge exchange in administration, social sciences, and security to keep pace with changing conditions, integrate academic cooperation in education, research, and knowledge management between the military and civilian sectors, support sustainable national development and security, and enhance the capabilities of personnel and students from both institutions. The cooperation will serve as a mechanism to promote academic excellence and strengthen preparedness to address security and geopolitical challenges, fostering continuous and sustainable collaboration between the two organizations.
