The 92nd Lion Thailand Amateur Open 2026, one of Thailand's oldest and most prestigious amateur golf tournaments, concluded on September 18, 2026 at Panya Indra Golf Club in Bangkok. Miguel Illas, a 22-year-old from the Philippines, won the men's individual title and the Chakri Memorial Cup after winning a playoff. The men's competition saw three players—Phut Nukuludomphanichitr, Miguel Illas, and Park Siwoo from South Korea—tie at 8-under-par 202 after three rounds. The playoff was decided at the 18th hole, where Illas emerged victorious. Phut finished runner-up and Park took third place.
In the women's competition, 16-year-old Khwanchanok Bunchantorn, known as Mali, claimed the championship with a total score of 12-under-par 198 and won the Rangsrit Laksitanan Cup. Heavy rain throughout the final round prevented completion of a full 18-hole round, so tournament officials used the results from three completed rounds in accordance with competition rules.
The Lion Thailand Amateur Open 2026 was organized by the Thai Golf Association from September 15–18, 2026. The tournament, in its 92nd edition, attracted 56 foreign golfers from 13 countries alongside domestic participants.
