Motorcyclist Killed After Dog Collision and Truck Strike
A 36-year-old motorcyclist died on Phahonyothin Road in Pathum Thani after his bike struck a dog, causing him to fall into the path of an oncoming pickup truck on Saturday.
A 36-year-old motorcyclist was killed after his motorcycle hit a dog on Phahonyothin Road in Khlong Luang district, Pathum Thani province on Saturday. The impact caused him to fall onto the road, where he was then struck by a pickup truck. Police and emergency responders found the victim, identified as Pruettinan Tong-on, in the middle of the road with severe injuries. A damaged Honda Wave motorcycle with an Ayutthaya licence plate and an Isuzu pickup truck with a Bangkok licence plate were recovered at the scene. The pickup driver, Watthana Silanamthiang, 47, remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Authorities documented the scene and arranged for a post-mortem examination. Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
