Klong Tan Police have identified a man with psychiatric issues who exposed himself to a female student and followed her repeatedly, even boarding the same boat after she changed her route home. The incident began after a warning post on the Jemmoi v+ Facebook page alerted the public when a student encountered a man who rolled down his car window, called her over, and exposed himself before following her, frightening her greatly. On September 8, the girl's mother told Khaosod Online that despite her daughter avoiding her usual route and taking a ferry instead, the man followed her and boarded the same boat. Then on September 2, he appeared at the pier again, shouting at her and asking where she was going, and threatening her with knowledge of which school she attended. The family initially filed a report at Klong Tan Station. Following media coverage and social media sharing, Klong Tan Police officers have now identified the suspect. He is currently undergoing statements with psychologists and social workers before formal charges are filed, which will depend on whether his actions constitute indecent exposure or sexual harassment.
