Siam Piwat Launches Food Campaign to Aid 100,000 Meals

Siam Piwat Group has joined forces with the United Nations World Food Programme to launch "The Next Bucket: Save Lives & Change Lives," encouraging people to share the power of giving through food and support WFP's work helping people and communities affected by crises and food insecurity in Asia and the Pacific. Working with restaurants across its Bangkok shopping centers—Siam Paragon, Siam Centre, Siam Discovery, IconSiam, and Siam Premium Outlets—the group is creating special menus and activities throughout the campaign to enable customers and the public to contribute. Recently, Siam Piwat hosted a charity dinner at NEXTOPIA on the fifth floor of Siam Paragon, featuring acclaimed restaurants Fallabella Little Sister Kitchen and Gordon Ramsay Street Burger, along with DJs Bestboi and Bomber Selecta. Siam Piwat executives and WFP leaders, including Ambassador Simon Parcment and Vilment Lyon, WFP Goodwill Ambassador, were joined by Paolo Dionisi, Italian Ambassador to Thailand, and other honored guests. Since the campaign launched in June 2025, organizers have raised more than halfway toward the 100,000-meal goal through customer contributions, partner support, and restaurant donations via special menus and various donation channels. The campaign will continue through December 2025 to support WFP operations assisting people in need across Asia and the Pacific. Against the backdrop of recent floods and landslides in Nepal, WFP is on the ground providing aid and scaling support as needs grow; this campaign also helps fund WFP's Nepal operations and ensures continued assistance to affected communities. Chef Vilment Lyon, WFP Goodwill Ambassador, shared that WFP's work in Myanmar, where he recently traveled, deeply inspires him and reinforces the urgency of fighting hunger, which should never exist. He urged all to support WFP in reaching and helping people facing food crises throughout Asia and the Pacific. Restaurant networks within Siam Piwat's shopping centers are contributing through special menus at establishments including Suanpraphad (traditional Thai cuisine) and L'Antica Pizzeria Da Michele Bangkok.
