Multiple patients have filed complaints with Muang Phatthalung Police after undergoing cosmetic procedures at a beauty clinic in Muang District, Phatthalung, only to suffer inflammatory complications and disfigurement. The clinic denied responsibility for the adverse outcomes. During an inspection, officials found that while the doctor held proper medical credentials, the clinic itself had never received authorization to operate as a cosmetic facility, having opened before completing the required approval process. Pinit Sinthu Petchmani, acting provincial health officer, stated that authorities are still verifying whether the beauty products used in the procedures met medical standards and safety requirements. He urged victims to pursue legal action against the clinic to hold it accountable for the harm caused.
