Family Receives Body of 12-Year-Old Shooting Victim

A grieving family received the body of a 12-year-old girl, a victim of a shooting at Thepsirin School in Nonthaburi. Her classmate revealed that on the day of the incident, the victim had gone to receive a vaccine before disappearing. At noon on August 9, 2026, a 49-year-old mother traveled to claim the body of her 12-year-old daughter, a first-year student at Thepsirin School in Nonthaburi, who died from gunshot wounds at Phra Nang Klao Hospital. The girl died on August 8 after being rushed to the hospital. Her body was brought for religious rites at Wat Lat Pla Duk temple in Bang Rak Pattana subdistrict, Bang Bua Thong district, Nonthaburi, as family members supported the grieving mother while waiting for her daughter's arrival.
When interviewed, a 12-year-old classmate from the same room said he was in the same class as the victim. On the day of the incident, the victim had gone to receive a vaccine, while the classmate did not go because his mother had not signed him up.
Regarding whether the perpetrator intentionally shot the victim or not, the classmate was uncertain. He learned his friend was shot at night, and after the incident, no one could find her. He later learned she was in the hospital. When he visited her the next day, she was still on the bed unconscious but not yet deceased, with weakening vital signs. He learned she died half an hour after his visit, expressing deep sorrow over losing his friend.
