Government Savings Bank's Digital Savings account offers 2.50% annual interest tax-free on deposits up to 10,000 baht. Customers can open an account themselves via the MyMo app without visiting a branch. Somphol Cheewaapunnarodjn, director of Government Savings Bank, announced that the bank is inviting the public to open Digital Savings accounts on the MyMo app for everyday financial management with high returns. Deposits remaining in the account earn interest at 2.50% annually for balances not exceeding 10,000 baht, and earned interest is not subject to tax.

The account allows customers to manage daily finances while earning interest on unused funds in a single account, extending the bank's philosophy of serving everyone by making spending and savings convenient to do together. The Digital Savings account is available to existing Government Savings Bank customers who can open an account independently through MyMo, and to new customers who can register for MyMo and open an account online by verifying their identity via NDID according to bank conditions, without visiting a branch.

Account holders must be Thai nationals aged 15 and older with a Smart Card national ID, with one account per person. Accounts can be opened with a minimum of 1 baht with no deposit limit. Balances up to 10,000 baht earn 2.50% annual interest, while amounts exceeding 10,000 baht earn 0.35% annually. Interest earned is tax-free, and deposits and withdrawals can be made via MyMo as needed. Interested customers can open a Digital Savings account through the MyMo app, with more details available at www.gsb.or.th and GSB Contact Center at 1115.
