At 9:30 a.m. on September 14, 2025, Yang Lum Sub-district Health Promoting Hospital in Muang Ubon Ratchathani District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, assisted a pregnant woman in advanced labour who had travelled to the facility by pickup truck. When medical staff assessed her condition, they found she was in imminent labour with the baby's head already crowned. The team immediately provided emergency assistance and delivered the baby right there on the pickup truck bed to ensure a safe and timely delivery. The baby was born safely at 9:49 a.m., weighing 2,955 grams. The hospital staff provided appropriate initial care for mother and child, then coordinated with the emergency medical transport system 1669 to arrange transfer and ongoing care through the health service network. The incident reflects the readiness, capability, and efficiency of Yang Lum Sub-district Health Promoting Hospital's team in responding rapidly and accurately to medical emergencies to safeguard the community.
